at Make Architects (2014-2016) and Arney Fender Katsalidis (2016-2017)

Derwent London , Make Architects and Multiplex are aiming to replace the 1960s city block currently home to the Saatchi & Saatchi headquarters with a commercial-led project comprising state-of-the-art speculative offices.

The new-build scheme is a steel frame construction with expressed downstand beams and bespoke pre-cast 1.5m-wide concrete planks with exposed, meticulously set-out M&E services, in line with the industrial aesthetic espoused by Derwent London and sought after in Fitzrovia.

80 Charlotte Street is faithful to the Derwent brand in that it draws its inspiration from Mies Van Der Rohe and Pierre Chareau, Donald Judd and Harry Bertoia.

I was the lead for the interiors as well as the lead for the structure and services coordination.
